You can find a variety of different dishes in the village. Most restaurants are family owned, allowing you to taste traditional Malaysian food as well as Indian, Chinese and Thai dishes.

    

There is a choice for everyone, spicy lovers or not, vegetarian or meat lovers. Chicken, beef, fish and squid are all available in a variety of cooking styles, including barbecued, however pork is totally banned on the island. If you prefer western food, burger and pizzas are also available, as well as lamb chop and beef steak.

Prices for meals range from RM7 (for traditional food in small restaurants) to RM25 (for western dishes).

Alcohol is not available in most of the restaurants on the island, but canned and fresh juices can be found almost everywhere.
